  2010年山东高考英语比较重视考察学生的应用能力,其中英语知识运用部分,每一个知识点都可以在新概念二三册里找到原型,可以说,掌握好新概念二三册就能赢得高考,在这里给大家一一进行剖析。
  
  21. —Do you think you could do without help?

  解读:这道题考察情景交际。问句:没有别人帮助你自己能行吗?答句:对我来说这又不是第一次了。可见回答者信心满满。

  根据题意,选D。
    
  新概念二册第20课 (以下简称为L20):
  
  This does not worry me. (这里worry指令人担心)
  
  This does not worry me. = Don’t worry (about this).
  
  这句话可以取代D选项

  A. 不填;the B. 不填;a C. the; a D. the;the
  
  解读:这道题考察冠词。大家看到题中的front可能会愣一下,一般的搭配都是in the front of,在题目中的front和这个词组中都是名词,前面。Front后面有of the bus限定,表特指,即front前面要加the。Have a good view是一个固定搭配,指有一个更好的视野。题目中用了一个比较级。这里的view没有明确限定,用a。

  解读:这道题考察非谓语动词to do的含义。相信这道题栽跟头的同学有不少,因为大家可能对不定式to do的理解集中于表目的。根据上下文,我们能猜出句意为在学期结束前,我有很多需要完成的阅读任务。根据句意,要填的空是修饰a lot of readings,看到选项,推测题目考察的应该是动词的非谓语形式(即doing,done,to do)作定语。
  
  首先根据句意可排除A,doing表示主动,由于readings要“被我”完成,需要被动。
  
  C和D可以轻松排除。 C和D相等,非谓语done=being done, 一道题目如果有两个选项意思一样,一定排除。当然根据语法,C和D都不错,have sth done表已经完成了某事。句意就变成了“在学期结束前,我已经完成了很多阅读任务”。
  
  根据题意,选B。在这里to do做定语,表将来。   
  
  新概念二册L36,She will have something to drink but she will not eat any solid food. Something to drink表可以喝的东西,翻译成她会喝一些东西。
  
  新概念三册L33,题目是 A day to remember,表要记住的一天,即难忘的一天。
  
  此题难度较大,考察To do表定语,大家务必掌握。
 
  24. That’s the new machine ______ parts are too small to be seen.
  
  A. that B. which C. whose D. what
  
  解读:这道题考察定语从句。这道题的句意为这是一台新机器,机器的零件小得看不见。根据句意,parts是machine的一部分,选C。whose = of which, 此处也可填of which。whose即可放在人后面,也可放在物后面。
    
  新概念二册L28,课后练习(将两句话合成一句),再给大家一些启发。
  
  The house belongs to Mr. Woods.
  
  The door of the house is brown.
  
  The house whose/of which door is green belongs to Mr. Woods.

  A. shouldn’t B. needn’t C. couldn’t D. mustn’t
  
  解读:这道题考察情态动词。大家一看到情态动词否定形式,且后面跟have done,表“…做,但做了”。
  
  A shouldn’t have done 不应做某事,但做了
  
  B needn’t have done 没有必要做某事,但做了
  
  C couldn’t have done = can’t have done 过去不可能做某事,但做了
  
  D mustn’t have done 不存在,只有must have done,表过去一定做过某事
  
  根据题意,选A,意为:我真不该看那个电影,这电影会让我做噩梦的。   
  
  我们在这里再罗列出几个大家易混的:
  
  Should have done 本来应该做某事,没做
  
  Need have done 本来需要/有必要做某事,没做
  
  Could have done 本来能够做某事,没做
  
  Can have done 只用于疑问句,表对过去的怀疑
  
  Might have done = may have done 可能做过某事
    
  在新概念二册L17, L19, L41, L65及新概念三册L18中都有对情态动词的理解,大家再复习一下。

  解读:这道题考察名词性从句。看到a list of能推测,of后面一定跟名词性的成分。根据句意,在大减价开始之前,我列了一个清单,上面写着下个季节孩子们需要的东西。应该选B。大家不妨把what分解成things which,有助于理解。
  
  名词性从句,即有着名词功能的句子。在新概念三册里比比皆是,例如L29 Whether we find a joke funny or not largely depends on where we have been brought up. 这句话中包含着两个名词性从句,一个是whether引导的,一个是where引导的。

  解读:这道题考察词组的积累。Pick up不仅指捡起,还指不经意学会某种知识或掌握某项技能。有些词组的含义有着不同方向的延伸,平时要注意积累。选C。

  在这里unless引导的从句中,如果主语与主句主语一直,可省略,动词相应变成非谓语形式,主动用doing,被动用done。

  新概念三册L5:
  
  He informed the editor that he had been arrested while counting the 1,084 steps leading to the fifteen-foot wall which surrounded the president’s palace.

  解读:这道题考察独立主格。
  
  独立主格的结构:(with) + 主语 + doing/done/to do,doing表主动,done表被动,to do表将来,结果或目的。在这里,独立主格还原成完整句子是A dining table is already laid for a meal to be cooked.
  
  根据题意,选A。  
  
  新概念三册L6:
  
  The silence was suddenly broken when a large car, with its headlights on and its horn blaring, roared down the arcade.
  
  其中with its headlights on的完整形式是with its headlights being on, being可以省略。

  解读:这道题考察现在完成时。Up to now是现在完成时的标志词,表截至目前为止,从过去延续到现在,用现在完成时。

  解读:这道题考察同位语。
  
  A it不合语法
  
  B 如何that换成which就对了,that不能引导非限制性定语从句
  
  C what不合语法
  
  D one其实是one habit的省略形式。One是habit的同位语,横线后面的话是修饰one的定语从句。
  
  根据题意,选D。   
  
  所谓同位语就是两个名词指一回事,并列放在那里,去掉哪个都不影响句意。这道题的迷惑之处在于,同位语后面跟了一个修饰成分,即定语从句,结果扰乱视听。
  
  新概念四册L10:
  
  Carver Mead, a pioneer in integrated circuits and a professor of computer science at the California Institute of Technology, notes there are now work-stations that enable engineers to design, test and produce chips right on their desks, much the way an editor creates a newsletter on a Macintosh.
  
  在这句话中,Carver Mead的同位语有a pioneer和a professor,两个同位语后面都跟着长长的修饰成分,在做阅读的时候大家要学会划分成分,进行分辨。

  解读:这道题考察词汇量。
